Mission Statement
The Wadena County Sheriff's Posse was formed in 1991. The Posse consists of a group of volunteers and is guided by Sheriff Michael D Carr. The posse aids the Wadena County Sheriff's Department and Local Law Enforcement Agency's in Search and Rescue efforts and patrols during local events.Posse members participate in parades, promote horsemanship as well as help support and work with the youth of Wadena County.
Members of the Sheriff's Posse are committed to professionalism and service.
Each member volunteers their time as well as covers their expenses for horses, tack, transportation and training.
